I love the fall! I love it! We don’t get the nice fall weather cool down here in Florida, so fall decor is everything! I love the whimsy of Halloween decorations, and it’s super easy to transition from Halloween to Thanksgiving decor. Take away the spiders and black pumpkins and most pieces can be carried forward. My kids love seeing the house transform each season, and Halloween is no exception. As soon as we brought the boxes in from the garage they were digging in. The entryway came together quickly using simple decorations with the kids help.
Simple Decor for the Entryway
- Welcoming Wreath- We added a spider to our fall wreath to make it spooky, but you could add spider webs, hand-made ghosts, or skeleton bones. When Halloween passes the wreath stays and the spider goes.
- Fun Pumpkin Entry Table- I really love having a warm, welcoming entryway, and we all enjoyed creating it together. I have been collecting pumpkins for the last several years. The kids have rearranged them dozens of times since we placed them on the entry table. Pumpkins made from different materials with a variety of colors and textures make for a fun and inviting entry table.
- Warm Entry Bench- Halloween pillows on the entry bench really warm up the space and give it some personality. My daughter loves this pumpkin pillow. I am always finding her carrying it around the house!
Decorating can quickly get expensive, so I am always looking for seasonal bargains. Sometimes I even buy at the end of the season and save it for the following year. I find some of my favorite Halloween Decor in the dollar spot at Target. Where are your favorite places to find seasonal decor for Halloween and throughout the holiday season?
